It’s easy. A group assembles, you all learn about the elements of nature (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood), along with each element’s symbolic meaning, shape and color! It’s easy, fun, and supportive. Just remember, THE POINT IS TO CONNECT! Match your group to all the parts of Nature and create balance for something important in YOUR life. When each member has identified with Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, or Metal, they proceed to trace their hand from the color of their chosen element. For example, the person who says he is most like Fire (warmth or passion) would choose the reddish/orange handmade paper for the tracing of his hand. Next each hand is positioned on a background that has a circle of Nature’s elements, which we have created as The Constructive Healing Cycle. Place your “hand” on the icon representing the element with which you have identified. There are no rules. You can have as many hands on the background as you want. We have seen as many as 19! Again, remember THE POINT IS TO CONNECT! When all “hands” are positioned, voila! You have a meaningful art piece, which you can finish as you desire. Just pin it up for all to see or, if you like, you can send it to us to finish as a plaque mounted art piece! Your masterpiece will be permanently preserved to remember and act on the connection you have created! |
